MACCPAC (Muslim American Citizens Coalition & Public Affairs Council) is a non-profit grassroots organization aimed at promoting national security, freedom, human rights, justice and peace through education, interaction, interfaith understanding and coalition building with government agencies (elected officials, administration) and other pertinent organizations (Muslim organizations, think tanks, NGOs, media etc). MACCPAC wants to bridge the gap between the US Muslim community and the mainstream American society.

TFI-MACCPAC Leadership Retreat – Deadline is Friday 6/24!

The TFI-MACCPAC Leadership Retreat is a week-long retreat for college students to learn how the nation’s capital works, be better informed about Muslim civic and political organizations, and establish networks that would help them on their career path. The program is organized by The Fairfax Institute, a school of the International Institute of Islamic Thought, and MACCPAC.

Hotel accommodation, all meals, and local transportation (visits to Islamic centers and to DC/Capitol Hill) are included in the $100 tuition fee.
Students need to take care of their transportation to/from Herndon, VA.
